The key to a good hummus is good quality olive oil. If you truly dig hummus I would make the investment in a good olive oil. If your not out to spend too much Trader Joe's has some tasty mid range olive oils for you to explore. Enjoy!
4 Garlic Cloves
2 x 15 oz. Can Garbanzo beans
2/3 cup Tahini
1/3 cup lemon juice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup good quality olive oil
1/2 tsp Salt
handful roasted pine nuts
cumin (season to taste)
Season to taste. you may have to add a little olive oil, salt or cumin depending on your preference, but go easy on the lemon. A common mistake a lot of commercial manufacturers of Hummus is adding far too much lemon, which really kills the goodness of hummus.
Blend all ingredients in food processor. Viola!

I'll try this one. It looks like something I can actually make.
